A big thank you to those who contributed to our fall letter requesting donations. In contrast to the many, many letters sent by other organizations, FAL sends out only two requests a year. This is a major source of our funding in addition to the semi-annual book sale, Dewey’s Café, and Live @ the Library.
Support from you, our donors, is critical. We are not a membership organization, so donations allow us to support many Library activities not included in the Library’s budget from the City. The Library just released its new strategic plan and we will be called upon to raise funds to support capital items in the plan. We will provide details in an upcoming newsletter.
