A treasure like the Alameda Free Library does not happen by accident – it’s made possible by people like you. Your support allows our library to provide the very best in books, music, movies, and technology – and grow its collections and programs in exciting ways. Spring is here and the Friends of the Alameda Free Library is excited to announce the return of many of our beloved programs you’ve been patiently waiting for and some new and exciting additions. Friends @ Home continues to offer amazing online art docent and author presentations for all generations. Dewey’s Cafe has reopened in the library, and the traditional FAL Used Book Sale at the O’Club is scheduled to return in October. Books for Friends is our new used book selling space at the main library.
We hope you will consider a generous gift to the Spring Annual Fund Campaign. This fund provides ongoing support for the many programs and services of the Alameda Free Library, including the annual Summer Reading Program for all ages.
