The most frequent questions Board members receive are “When is the next book sale?”, “When will you accept book donations?”, and “When can I go to a Live @ the Library concert?” The pandemic put a halt to these well-loved programs. As socializing has become safer, we have begun to reimagine our book sale. You can find out how in this news post.
We are hoping to restart our Live @ the Library jazz concerts early next year. Maintaining conditions to reduce virus transmission in the small concert area is our highest concern for performers and the audience. Stay tuned for further updates.
Meanwhile we intend to continue our Friends @ Home author and art docent talks into next year. They have been successful beyond our expectations. We understand some regular attendees miss the social interaction of in-person events, but we are reaching much larger audiences and attendees can easily see and hear the speaker.
