The annual fund allows us to continue our ongoing support of the Alameda Free Library for the many programs and services you have come to love. We use the funds to deliver books to seniors and home-bound citizens in Alameda. We fund literature featuring girls and women and traditionally under-represented members of the AAPI and Black communities. The funds allow us to bring you our Friends @ Home virtual events, keeps this online newsletter and media updates coming to your inbox and pays for our ongoing operational expenses. With our other fundraising events on hiatus due to the pandemic, the annual and is now more important than ever.
