On May 26, 2021, the Friends of the Alameda Free Library was joined by Francesca Lia Block, MFA, who has authored more than twenty-five books of fiction, non-fiction, short stories, and poetry and has written screenplay adaptations of her work. Ms. Block’s talk centered on her writing process, how she became a writer, her transition from young adult fiction to adult fiction, and her most recent books.
