On November 10th, the Friends were joined by art docent Avril Angevine for a presentation on the work of American artists such as Jackson Pollock, Willem de Kooning, Joan Mitchell, Franz Kline, Helen Frankenthaler, Sam Gilliam, and many more who produced big, juicy, painterly works of abstract art, emotion-filled and formally inventive.
