Books for Friends (BFF) is our used book shop in the main library. The curated books are in exceptional, almost-new condition.
$100 Holiday Book Boxes are back! Stop in or call BFF at (510) 747-7737 to purchase a $100 box of very high quality books for yourself or a friend. Books will be personally chosen by Philip Barry, the BFF manager, based upon the purchaser’s choice of genre(s) or his own eclectic selection if the purchaser has no preference. Boxes can be delivered locally or picked up at BFF during open hours. Quantities are limited, so order now!
BFF will soon begin offering gift cards for sale in time for the holiday season! BFF gift cards allow the book lovers in your life to pick exactly what they want (the perfect present!) and are redeemable at BFF, Pop-Up Book Sales, and the Big Book Sale.
