Friends of the Alameda Free Library hosts two used book sales each year, one in May and one in October. Both events this year were the most successful ever. Hundreds of people attended and bought thousands of used books, all in good condition and in subject matters ranging from children’s books to military history, from mysteries to science and technology, from novels to all subjects in between. The three day sales generate much-needed funds for many of our library’s programs.
We thank our many, many volunteers who worked tirelessly to make these sales so successful, and we thank everyone who came and bought books.
