Come attend a presentation on French artist James Tissot (1836-1902), who defied both personal and professional conventions in a career that spanned the English Channel. His most ebullient society pictures reveal a rich and complex commentary on Belle Epoque culture, religion, fashion, and politics.
A docent will present images from the exhibit and discuss them.
